Red Hot Chili Peppers, med sångaren Anthony Kiedis i spetsen, släppte sitt debutalbum "The red hot chili peppers" 1984. Bland deras mest kända låtar finns "Californication", "Give it away" och "Around the world". "The getaway" blir deras elfte album i ordningen.
